All Personal/Non Educational certificates have to be pre authenticated first from concerned home department. Usually Home department certificate attestation is done by respective states itself. . After the Home department Attestation, the required Embassy Attestation is carried out.

Please note: For Kerala originated documents applicant needs to provide request letter to home department for certificate attestation. Incase of marriage certificate issued from Tamilnadu, it should be issued from State Body.
